Staycation

Here I sit on my 4th night at a "home away from home" and I just have to say that I am a firm believer in the idea of a staycation. We didn't have to go too far to feel like we were "away" and we're having a blast!

Lots of cooking, movie watching, breakfast in pajamas, long walks in the sun, and prancing deer. It's been wonderful and I can't believe it's ending so soon. As a tribute to Bob Wiley we're taking a "vacation from our problems" and it's OH SO NICE ;)
Meanwhile my little brother sits in OAHU...but who needs it ;)

Traveling Husband

So, when Ian and I first started dating we feel that God gave him about a year of less travel for work just so that we could get to know each other better. It was amazing...before he met me he was traveling all the time, and then there was a breather, and now that we're married he's off traveling again.

Usually he just goes on quick 2 night trips somewhere, and in a blink of an eye he is back...however in April, he is off on a 10 day trip to the other side of the world (CHINA) and I can't tell you how much I dread this. :(

On a positive note however, I have had some WONDERFUL girl time in the past couple of days (due to a trip to Michigan for him) and I can't help but smile. LONG phone conversations, visits in our apartment and long walks. It's so good!!!! I'm reminded of how wonderful my friends are, and how blessed I am to have them in my life!!!

A traveling husband...can be a blessing in disguise. I miss you Tree :) XOXO

Facebook rudeness

Can I just say that I can't handle people who talk about other people OUTWARDLY on Facebook and expect that it's going to be a secret to the person that is being talked about. Let me write a post on someone's wall about someone that will totally read it and then act like they won't.

GROW UP PEOPLE!

There's a first time for everything...

Here goes my attempt at blogging. I have been so inspired by the blogs of my friends and family lately that I realized...you know what? I might have something to say too! I love to write and I used to do it a lot more often, so here I go.

For now...I say hello and enjoy my blogging world.
